Podcast Thoughts
Frank Skinner on Absolute Radio podcast:
I'll admit to already loving this podcast beforehand. Frank Skinner is a British comedian who does a Saturday morning radio show with another comic and an editor of a fashion magazine (who's also actually pretty funny). The podcast subscription is for both the best bits of the radio show (minus the music and commercials) and for a mid-week podcast-only show. I love the comedy and the discussion of topical news and trivialities of daily life and the happenings of the relatively show-biz hosts.

The podcast i watched was chosen at random. It was a humorous video of a cat owner who took a laser pointer and teased her cat and made her run into a pyramid stack of cups. It made me laugh. <:^)

Meagan Long
It was interesting to see the perspective of a blogger who is not interested in being apart of the digital age. I think that Meagan gives the same perspective of a lot of people that blog....I do it because that's what everyone else does.

I thought your presentation on blogging was interesting; I do not blog but some of your comments are certainly relevant to how widespread the Internet is and the impact that both blogging and twitter make.

I think the interview was too long, but it had a lot of great information. It made me consider blogging in order to share my writing, poetry, and photography. The business potential for blogging was the most interesting information to me.

The interview was good. The interviewer asked very effective questions--and Meagan gave very informative answers. It seems that blogging has in fact created employment marketability, and if you can promote yourself by doing so, then you can be sure that you will have a competitive edge, especially in the art world.
